I have three AD server (SP3). While trying to add a computer to be a member of the domain from the client I receive an error that says:
The following error occured while attempting to join the domain " mydomainnamehere " The directory service was unable to allocate a relative identifier Also while trying to add a user I get errors that say the uniqueness of the proposed name cannot be verified. My Event Viewer logs indicate that the replication is not happening between the DCs. [Error 1411, 1326, & 1265] I have checked my DNS to make sure that names and IPs are properly being resolved - this appears to be accurate. This is the first problem I have had like this in my 1 1/2 year old AD. What types of things (and resources) would you recommend I look at, as I know this information cannot yet be enough to intelligently assess and resolve the problem? I am concerned that I may have a corrupt AD, but don't want to go there yet. Thanks in advance, Paul Done Other Resources: http://www.jsifaq.com/SUBL/tip5900/rh5984.htm problem is that the command line stuff appears to be from Resource Kit (???) ------ You are subscribed as [email protected] Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
