There is a local policy in the User Rights Assignment section called
"Change the System time". By default, only Administrators or Power users
of the local machine can change the time.

Tony.

Subject: Windows XP Professional - Prevent User changing date/time

Hello,

Can I set a local security policy on a standalone XPPro machine to
prevent a specific user account from changing the date/time?

Regards,
