Hi I didn't have any success with my Group Policy question, so I wondered if anyone had any thoughts on creating a standard operating environment?
In its simplest form, I'm thinking I create a new default user profile for all computers which has our corporate backgrounds/screensavers/intranet shortcuts etc etc, backup their old profiles for them so they can restored favorites and any docs stored where they shouldn't be (i.e. desktop/my documents) and then delete them forcing them to take our new default profile, then using group policy, remove their ability to change backgrounds/screensavers/proxy settings Some guidance as to how others do this would be great Nik ------ You are subscribed as [email protected] Archives: http://www.swynk.com/sitesearch/search.asp To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
