On NT 4.0 when you wanted to secure a web page you removed NTFS permissions
to the IUSR_servername account and the web page prompted for authentication.

On IIS 5.0, I removed ALL NTFS permissions, except the administrator
account, to a web page and you could still access the page through a link on
the home page. I had to actually go into IIS Manager and remove "Allow
Anonymous Access" settings on the file before access was prevented. Note
the IUSR_servername account was confirmed to only be a member of guests.

IS this consistent behavior. No NTFS permissions still allows access!
Ouch!
