When you use an unqualified name, chances are that your WINS server is what is actually resolving the name.
The fix you're going to want to employ is to either set up secondary zones for the other domains on each of your DNS/DC combos, or alternately set up one to pull a secondary from the other (say Dom1 secondaries Dom2) and also set Dom2 up to forward all requests to Dom1. ------------------------------------------------------ Roger D.
