American Idol???

Please don't tell me you watch that cr*p.

BTW,
Roger is right.

However I will always "on my own computer" use host files to reduce name
resolution time.

Definitely not a viable option for hundreds of VPN clients.

American Idol has Simon, we have Roger. "Brutally accurate" would be a
fitting description. He's right in band-aids fix things now but makes the
overall picture worse. After six or seven band-aids you're probably better
off blowing away the infrastructure. I am currently sifting through a
network put together in band-aid fashion and it's like trying to cut grass
with scissors.

The difference is that your opinion, as you call it, is a crutch that both
fails to solve the issue he's seeking assistance with, and actually adds to
the complexity of addressing the root cause of the issue.
