Well I didn't wanna fight with finance to buy another device so I'm just
using our existing one.

I went with a VPN Concentrator 3005. I bought used and was a breeze to
configure because it's all web based.

And you'll also need a 3DES license for the PIX. I believe the single DES is
a freebie for the PIX.

Depending on the amount of VPN clients you will consume some bandwidth that
would normally be available to web clients.

No I mean once I allow the tunneling from the outside. Will the existing
public webs still continue to be publicly available from the outside?

If you're saying you want to access the Internet while the tunnel is up,
you're going to set up split tunneling. Split tunneling enables you to send
only certain traffic through the tunnel. The rest to your gateway
(Internet).

Hi all,
Soon I am going to enable VPN on my PIX firewall. Currently, we have a
couple of webs made public via NAT. When I enable the VPN will it effect
public access to the existing webs?

Johnny
