Have a 2k server that is running into problems with cached credentials. This server runs our network backups (Arcserve) as well as runs a program that essentially takes zip files that are on our ftp server and uncompresses them to a network drive. Arcserver has the proper credentials for accessing network resources. The other program has the access to the ftp server hardcoded into it and is working fine, but after the backup runs it loses its connection with the network drive for moving the uncompressed files. Now if I disconnect the network drive, run nbtstat -R then remap the drive then all is fine until the backup runs again. The server has been rebooted on several occasions. The server is logged on as the domain admin account, and arcserve is using it for backup. So this server is using nothing but the one account for network access. What else am I missing that is causing this problem?
