Why not use the ExtendOEMPartition option in the unattend.txt and use the
whole hard drive? The OS will allow it, and users tend not to use a second
drive even if installed.

Subject: WIN XP 4GB Primay Partition

Good morning Everybody,

We are planning to deploy windows XP in our domain. For this
we are preferring to use the unattended installation method for
deploying the Operating system and other software. In the
unattended installation process we are planning to create the
primary partition as 4 GB. I have used the free fdisk provided by
the free dos website, and created the 4 GB primary partition and
formatted it. After the initial file copying phase is completed
the system just hangs and does not boot from the harddisk.

I have the following points to ask:

1. Are there any free disk partitioning utilities which can
partition the disk as 4 GB primary partition.

2. Are there any known issues with the FAT32 partition and 4 GB
primary partitions with windows XP installation.

Any help in this matter will be very helpful

Thanks and Regards
Pavan.
