I have a peer -to - peer W2k setup. 1 station acting as a server and 1 station accessing a database on this "server". Both Running Windows 2000 Professional. First the server has been shutdown at various times. Not a power loss, it even states "Windows is now shutting down". I have checked and nothing is scheduled to happen. We've determined this only happens when the workstation is connected to the server. If you leave the workstation disconnected - the server runs fine. Scans show no viruses found. nothing in the event viewers. The last 3 times this has happened it has been at approximately the same time of day - can any one suggest what I should be looking for?
