Well right  now DNS information is stored in a text file in my
%systemroot%\system32\DNS folder. Any updates are handled by this
server. What I would like to do, is integrate DNS in AD so that all
information gets updated in AD and is stored in AD as well. Does that
make any more sense? ????

What do you mean by "partial integration"? Zones are either integrated
or
not - there isn't a lot of middle ground there.
