Requirements would probably be a good thing to add :) We have around 50 resources that are scheduled in year round. We have a group of people that have first pick. Once this group has finished scheduling we open it up to another group, and so on. Eventually, the whole organization gets dibs at what is left.
Our central computing department (handles user accounts, Exchange, etc...) recently upgraded to an Exchange 2000 environment. Since then the public folders are terribly slow. Also we are getting some reports from users that their appointments are disappearing. Because of this, Exchange is no longer an option for us. Requirements would be as follows: Idiot proof scheduling system with very good uptime that can handle approximately 1000 users and 50 resources Ability to set permissions on the resources to give certain use reviewer, author, and/or editor rights (just like Exchange) which would preferably pull from Active Directory Again, due to the recent disappearing appointments Exchange is not an option.
