robocopy with /sec is the way to go... you can get it in the resource kit

Hi,

I've got na old file server that has to be replaced, but has hundreds of
subdirectories with different permissions for several departments and
individuals.

I know that if I just copy the files to the new file server I will loose all
the permissions and taka a month or so to re-atribute them all in the new
server.

Is there any tool that allows me to copy the files between the servers and
maintain the permissions?

Thanks in advance,

Filipe Joel de Almeida
