SUS Question

I have setup a SUS server on my environment and it seems to work fine, 
but I was curious about how other Sys. Admins approve and dis-approve 
patches. For things like IE cumulative Patches, do you go back to 
previous cumulative patch and dis-approve before approve new cumulative 
patch or SUS automatically know how to deal with this?

When I synchronized SUS initially, it downloaded hundred patches and 
there were sever versions of  cumulative IE patches. I had to go through 
all of them to make sure I approved only latest patch.
