modify your boot.ini on c:
to look something like this.
Make sure you have a backup copy.
I would recommend a boot floppy that functions before you begin.
[boot loader] default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP 1" /fastdetect
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP 2" /fastdetect

Hi all, I have an XP laptop with 2 partitiions defined. I have ghosted (cloned) the C: and have the image on D:
What i used to do with my 98 laptops is to have a menu appear on boot giving the option to run up ghost and re-image the machine.
Can i do something similar with XP
do autoexec and config sys apply to XP in anyway?
