1: Should be Systemdrive.  Do a SET command from a dos prompt to see all of
your variables.

Two questions really...
1. Is there a default system/user variable that refers to the boot drive
letter (usually c:)?
2. What are the recommended permissions for the msdos.sys and io.sys
files?  I am trying to secure the essential system files such as ntldr,
boot.ini ntdetect and such but haven't found any recommendations for
these two files.
