I have a small NT domain which has a few 2K member servers in it. I have configured one server with SUS. Installation was successful and all available updates were downloaded over the night per schedule. I have approved a few of the updates for deployment.
On my second 2K server I have installed the SUS client and made all (apparently) necessary registry changes per page 61-63 of the white paper SUS_Deployguide_sp1.doc. I looked at kb326693 but I don't see the DetectionStartTime registry entry that it references. Is anyone using SUS? If so, how do you force your clients to get their updates? (While testing I want to initially force my client(s) to get their updates.) Do I have to wait until it does it's first check before I can force it?
