I created a VBS logon script and placed it in
\\SERVER\SysVol\smi\Policies\{D2B4C418-F349-476F-B8A0-EF97F5DFF5EC}\User\Scr
ipts\Logon
When I run it manually it does exactly what I need it to do but when I log
on it does not run,
even though I specified it as a logon script in a Group Policy which is
assigned to an OU I am a member of.
However, when I log on to one of the DCs as myself it *does* run!For now I am cheating by assigning a batch file to myself which then calls the VBS file but I want to use Group Policies to avoid dealing with individuals, and get rid of the unnecessary batch file. I followed the steps detailed at http://www.serverwatch.com/tutorials/article.php/1474241 and I seem to be doing everything right but maybe there's something else not mentioned. Can anyone suggest anything I may be missing?
