Go to c:\program files\common files\system\ado and get the file version
for msad015.dll. This is the version of ADO that is installed on your
system. To determine if all the files are at that MDAC level you need
com check.

For XML look for a file called msxml??.dll you will have files called
msxml2.dll, msxml2r.dll, etc. The one with the highest version number
is your version of XML, on my machine its msxml4.dll. - version 4.0.
Checking the file version will reveal what your sp level is.
