Hello: I was hoping someone could point me to some online documentation that pointed out the differences and advantages and disadvantages of setting up a Child domain vs setting up a new domain in the same forest. We have a UK office that has not been brought into our forest yet. They are all NT4 but going to 2000. They want to setup a new domain in the same forest. The purpose of them doing that is to keep the same DNS name space as they have on the Internet which I don't see why that matters. We would like them to be a child domain because that just seems to be the way to do things. Also it makes it easier for us to manage them if need be. Any advice or documents would be appreciated.
