I strongly suggest that all devices providing network services - servers,
printers, etc - have statically assigned IP addresses. There is no end to
the nightmares that can happen in a DHCP only environment.

Our server subnets (we have separate VLANs for servers from the rest of the
building) don't even run DHCP - you must assign an address statically.
