I would only recommend following the modification if you event log is 
filling up tot he point that you are losing events

If you are getting a ton of these, go ahead and use network monitor to look 
at the packets,  you might discover some schmuck trying to zone transfer 
every 3 seconds.....  If so, block him at the firewall :-)
