You think it should - I ran into the same thing - had to use DLG utility
with my Western Digital HDD and write all zeros to the drive to use it for
Windows NT

Subject: Installing Windows NT/2K after Windows 2003

I have had this problem three times now . . .
Install Windows 2003 Server; no problems
Try to install any previous server OS and I get an ntoskrnl.exe BSOD during
the gui setup.
In all instances I am deleting all partitions and recreating them
I am sure Server 2003 uses a new version of NTFS but since I am destroying
all partitions and re-creating them shouldnt that take care of it?

Chris
