I believe what it will do is handle date, money, and some other formatting
according to the Spanish rules, and error messages are returned to the
client in Spanish.

Hmmmm.... Ok... I know our user used this driver and things appear to work
(in english). I take it this will appear to work normal if in an english
environment, but can somehow handle spanish?

One is the Spanish driver, the other the English driver.

Subject: Differrence in 2 MS Access Drivers in Windows 2000

Hey folks,

I cannot find the answer this question anywhere and thought I would see if
anyone here had any idea.

I am helping one of our users setup some database queries through Excel 2000
on Windows 2000.

He is querying a MS Access database and I noticed that there are 2 drivers
listed in the Datasources tool.

I see one listed as:
Driver do Microsoft Access (*mdb)

And a second driver listed as:
Microsoft Access Driver (*mdb)

Does anyone know what the difference in these drivers are???

They both say they point to the ODBCJT32.DLL.

I would greatly appreciated anyone assistance as I can't find anything that
states the difference and why I would use one over the other in Windows
2000.

Thanks,
Greg
