Win2003 Server: I recently installed the "Enhanced Security Configuration" to IE6 on this box. I was then unable to get to Windows Update site or any other site that had to run ActiveX controls. I've uninstalled that add-in, reduced security to nil, even added that site to the Trusted Sites list, rebooted n times, and am still unable to run ActiveX controls in IE. I'm admin on the box, have searched Technet, unable to find anything how to truly restore IE to its former self - I don't see anything in policy that applies, and I'm thinking this add-in must have created some registry stuff that isn't easily uninstalled.
