1. You can unplug the header from the motherboard. 2. If your users are not admins, they can't install a driver. I would not rely on this one though :-). This does stop our users from putting in their cameras and external hdd's. Dunno if it will stop one of those new memory sticks they have at walmart :-).

We have a bunch of Win 2k Dell Optiplex GX110's that we would like to disable the USB ports on. Are there any free solutions off hand that you know of? I've checked the BIOS and can't find an option to disable the USB port from there :( We will not be using the USB's on these machines on the near future, but permanently disabling them is out of the question.
