Hi,

I just discovered an issue in tabulates.

I use the preamble [|c|p|] and I noticed that if I let a cell in
the second column start with an \hbox, then that cell will be
split. Example: I have

\NC 01--03 \NC \Int\ is 4d4 \NC\AR
\NC 37--39 \NC Some facial disfigurement. \Cha\ is 4d4 \NC\AR

where

\def\Int{\hbox{Intelligence\index{intelligence}\index{attributes+intelligence}}}
\def\Cha{\hbox{Charisma\index{charisma}\index{attributes+charisma}}}

and, it gets typeset like

+-------+--------------------------------------------+
| 01-03 | Intelligence                               |
|       | is 4d4                                     |
+-------+--------------------------------------------+
| 37-39 | Some facial disfigurement. Charisma is 4d4 |
+-------+--------------------------------------------+

Why?
