I don't see any problems here. Just set line spacing with:
\setupinterlinespace[1.5]
(whatever) and grids should still work. As far as I know grid
typesetting just removes the stretch in the page.
for quotations do something like:
\setupquotation
[before={\start\setupinterlinespace[1]},
after=\stop]
