Greetings-

I thought I'd give all this a try for a talk I have to give on tuesday
(I already have the Powerpoint for it but am enjoying the challenge of
transitioning to PDF instead :)

I'm playing with the organic presentation style and am having a few
problems. (I apologize if this stuff has all been discussed before, I'm
a new list-joiner and the archives are being particularly slow for me
today)

1) I have a very simple file for experimenting organictest.tex

\usemodule[pre-organic]
\starttext
\TitlePage
   {A Few Nice Quotes\\
    A Simple Style Demo\\
    Hans Hagen, August 2000}

\Topic {Douglas R. Hofstadter} \input douglas \page
\stoptext

It compiles w/o fatal error, however, the graphics are 'missing' in the
PDF with 'dummy' graphics complaining that:

file organictest-mpgraph.1 unknown

In the output of the texxing, i see:

layout : calculating backgrounds
Randomizer initialized to 980229524.
mpost -progname=mpost -mem=metafun organictest-mpgraph
figures : figure organictest-mpgraph can not be found
interaction : pdftex code inserted

but I'm not entirely sure how to parse this since i'm new here :)

2) I thought that, at least in the documentation, it claims to use
Palatino... I added my adobe palatino fonts to
texmf.local/fonts/etc/etc... and added an appropriate .map file to
pdftex. Nothing, but when I do \setupbodyfont[ppl] in the above file, i
get mktexfm running trying to make 'Palatino'... this doesn't seem
right, since its trying to make a name of a font that isn't all
mungified like pplr8a.blah blah
