ah, i need to fix that,
[actually mode are more powerful:
\startmode[whatever]
settings
\stopmode
\startnotmode[....]
\stopnotmode
and then either \enablemode[whatever] or --mode=whatever ;
( another one is \startsetups name ... \stopsetups with \setups[name] ;
only english )
