I don't know if there is already a similar resource online (or if it is
even useful), but I have written a python script which, given any number
of *.enc files, produces a tabular representation of the encodings,
side-by-side, in html.

Here is a sample result:

In return, can anyone point me to an online (Adobe?) document which
lists all the possible character names used in postscript, such as are
listed in the encodings?
