OK, but you still need the lbr.pfb file to get lucida bright in the end. >I also tried some other fonts: > >pos: does not find the the TFM file >ber: proceeds, but the pdf contains only cmr > >So I think it is a setup problem of some sort. Are there any command line >progs to verify which fonts are installed and available and which fonts >Context recognizes? A few things to try: Go to Find and search your \texmf\fonts (and/or \texmflocal\fonts) directory for *.pfb. That will tell you all the type1 fonts you have installed. *.tfm will tell you what metrics you have for TeX. Make sure texmf/pdftex/config/psfonts.map is configured properly, since ConTeXt uses pdfTeX (I don't use pdfTeX for normal work myself though). On MiKTeX always make sure you refresh the fndb (I'm sure u know that already but I can't count the number of times I forgot to do it myself:->) I'm still new to ConTeXt and I don't normally use pdfTeX so I may be missing some other feature for checking this sort of thing:-) ========================== Dr. Idris Samawi Hamid Depatment of Philosophy Colorado State University Fort Collins, CO 80526
