There is a command (only dutch so we need to map it to englishm will be
done in next release):
\ifx\defineplace\undefined \let\defineplace\definieerplaats \fi
\defineplace
[centered]
[location=middle,
before=\blanko,
after=\blanko,
linecorrection=on]
\starttext
\startnarrower
\input tufte \placecentered{\framed[width=\hsize]{oeps}} \input tufte
\stopnarrower
The linecorrection is only needed for framed stuff
