I have found that with too large a text, linenumbering crashes with this
error:

I reduced it to a test case:

\starttext
\startlinenumbering
% this is ok
\dorecurse{1131}{Now is the time.\par}
% this crashes
\dorecurse{1132}{Now is the time.\par}
\stoplinenumbering
\stoptext
* * *
If I add "\setupinterlinespace[line=4ex]" it crashes before
linecount=1131, but I did not experiment to find the maximum possible
value for that case.
Do I need to expand some resource?
