Great, this works.
It's a bit more clear now. There is still one problem. I use the sans fallback in my typescript as follows, so that every alternative such as italic etc .. is mapped to my regular font (I have only one font file for the moment). Why do i get cmr italic instead of regular karat when i use \it for instance, or \bf etc. ?
