Unbelievable. Now all three original files are processing fine in their entirety. I DID NOT CHANGE ANYTHING. Very strange. Does anything get written outside of the current directory during a run ? Glad everything is *currently* working, but I don't like the fact that I've been having a lot of strangeness since starting with XeTeX processing.
