Dear list,

I have the following sample:

    \setuppapersize[A7]
    \setuplinenote[paragraph=yes,
        compressmethod=separator,
        compress=yes,
        compressseparator={\|\|}]
    \starttext
    \dorecurse{25}
     {a\linenote{b} }
    \stoptext

The || separator is also used as a stopper.

As far as I understood (and ConTeXt behaved like that last time I used
this feature) the separator command replaces the repeated line number.

It should not be used as an stopper (or to mark the separation with next
line).

Could anyone be so kind to confirm that this is unintended and that I’m
not missing anything?

Many thanks for your help,

Pablo
