Hi,
As we're aroudn the yearly meeting, I pushed the first 2.11.08 release
of luametatex / lmtx (likely finalized around tl 2026 one). On the
agenda are:
- finishing balancing/mvl are used in renewed columnsets (mostly
documenting and some at the context macro end)
- look into some related figure/caption placements
- do a few more (overload) protection related experiments
- maybe some structure stuff (follow up on thomas mails)
- maybe remove non-compact font code
- playing a bit more with vectors (also pseudo 3d related, projections)
- more streamlined export esp split documents which we have as
experiment already
- maybe some tagging stuff but it depends on user demand or mood as well
as realistic usage patterns; i've to decide on finishing some prototyped
stuff like inclusion of tagged stuff (for now e decided that it makes
makes little sense) and maybe do some cleanup/speedup
- likely some more 'signal' (aka contexct watch) features and add widget
code to the codebase
- for sure some metapost stuff
- maybe update a few manuals
- whatever interesting challenges users come up with
