Last one for tonight:
In \setupmakeup, "doublesided" can be “empty” (default).
What does that mean? (yes or no makes sense.)
With "no" you get a header/footer on the following page when you enable
them while "empty" doesn't show them.
%%%% begin example
\setuppagenumbering[alternative=doublesided]
\setupfootertexts[Can you see me?]
\starttext
\startstandardmakeup[headerstate=start,footerstate=start,doublesided=empty]
Ernie
\stopstandardmakeup
\startstandardmakeup[headerstate=start,footerstate=start,doublesided=yes]
Bert
\stopstandardmakeup
\stoptext
%%%% end example
