Please find attached my first go at an AMS-like style. Can
you tell me why the pub list shows without brackets? This is
the code I have in my doc.

\setupbibtex[database={mrabbrev,bezier,texmf,curves}]
\setuppublications[alternative=ams]
\setuppublications[
                   refcommand=num,
                   numbering=yes,
                   sorttype=cite,
                   criterium=all,
                   %numbercommand=\bibalignednumber,
]

...

\let\POSTSCRIPT\PS
\let\systemsuppliedtitle\chapter
\completepublications
