Hi Max, Thanks for sharing those excellent and practical examples. Your links are a great reference for future development.
With TypoGraphyzer, my aim was not only to create font specimens but also to tackle a few key challenges using an external Python script. The script handles automated typescript generation, which is especially useful for fonts that aren’t grouped into a standard family. For variable fonts, this process is fully automated using the fonttools library. Furthermore, it offers flexibility by allowing users to easily edit the test text, customize the document’s structure and color scheme via Setups.tex, and manually adjust features for specific or unconventional fonts and also enables easy toggling of font features for quick visual review. Best, Seyal ___________________________________________________________________________________ If your question is of interest to others as well, please add an entry to the Wiki! maillist : [email protected] / https://mailman.ntg.nl/mailman3/lists/ntg-context.ntg.nl webpage : https://www.pragma-ade.nl / https://context.aanhet.net (mirror) archive : https://github.com/contextgarden/context wiki : https://wiki.contextgarden.net ___________________________________________________________________________________
