Dear Mikael, Thank you for your solution regarding the width setting for columnset footnotes.
After compiling your example, I found that the footnotes do indeed appear on the correct pages with their markers. However, when there are too many contents in footnote, they tend to overlap with the main text. I also agree that endnotes can be a better choice in some cases, especially for reference lists or supplementary material that does not interfere with reading. For definitions or background stories of certain terms, however, I prefer to have them on the same page to avoid forcing the reader to flip back and forth. Thank you again for your helpful input. Best regards, autumnus ___________________________________________________________________________________ If your question is of interest to others as well, please add an entry to the Wiki! maillist : [email protected] / https://mailman.ntg.nl/mailman3/lists/ntg-context.ntg.nl webpage : https://www.pragma-ade.nl / https://context.aanhet.net (mirror) archive : https://github.com/contextgarden/context wiki : https://wiki.contextgarden.net ___________________________________________________________________________________
