| Oops, that means your TeX installation is really old. Are you using Gerben's distribution? I'd recommend upgrading unless there's an important reason why you wouldn't want to do so. I'm afraid it'll be difficult to help you with your problem on your current installation, I don't have access to a machine with such a system.
