Hello Horacio, then, your input file is not utf-encoded. Try to do a "recode l1..u8 file.tex" or replace utf by il1, since you email seems to be latin1 encoded. You seem to have character-encoding problems with your mailer too: the character-encoding of the subject line and the body are not specified.
