All,

And why does this one have page numbers on all pages? And why does it
end on an odd page? What's the difference from my first example?

\setupwhitespace[medium]
\setupindenting[medium,yes]

\definehead[answers][section]
\setuphead[answers][page=right]

\setuppagenumbering[alternative=doublesided]

\starttext

\startbodymatter

\chapter{Functions}

\input knuth

\section{Function Notation}

\dorecurse{10}{\input knuth par}

\answers{Answers}

\dorecurse{10}{\input knuth par}

\stopbodymatter

\stoptext
