This is influenced by the variable trie_size in your texmf.cnf. In my unmodified TeXLive 2007, this is 300000; I have no idea why Gerben changed it. You could try setting this to a larger value and then regenerate the formats. > > 2. Hmm, you have conflicting path names: this is what kps uses: /usr/local/gwTeX/texmf.local and this is where texexec looks for the files: /usr/local/Build/powerpc/TeXLive.2006/ Where does this path come from?
