I remember Henning was fighting with this quite a while ... but
eventually this was solved, wasn't it?
Shouldn't the following give NO textellipsis in the TOC:
\starttext
\setuplist[chapter][limittext={}]
\completecontent
\chapter{aaa\nolist{bbb}ccc}
\stoptext
(?)
