Hi,
try this: \getglyph{name:TeXGyreHeros-Regular}{\char"2013} % your font should
have the glyph!
If you are in linux and your editor is UTF8 capable, try pressing keys
<shift+ctrl+u> and then type <2013>.
This should work when using luatex.
