Don't know what you mean, the following works here \usemodule[simplefonts] \setmainfont[Times New Roman] \setsansfont[Arial Unicode MS] \setmonofont[Courier New] \starttext \rm\tf roman \it italic \bf bold \bi bolditalic \sc smallcaps \ss\tf roman \it italic \bf bold \bi bolditalic \sc smallcaps \tt\tf roman \it italic \bf bold \bi bolditalic \sc smallcaps \stoptext When you mean American Typewriter, Futura, Optima etc. you're wrong because they are saved in .dfont format which can't be used from LuaTeX but you can create normal ttf fonts with the program fondu.
