In bibmod-doc section4 "placing the publicationlist" where I suggest
you mention about a difference between mkii mkiv according to
\completepublications[criterium=all] % mkiv
or just
\completepublications % mkii
or if it is equivalent to
\setuppublicationlist[criterium=all]
